Harvest Festival
The 2nd annual Harvest Festival is held Saturday afternoon in the Harvard Community Garden by Lowell. The festival featured performances, fresh squeezed apple juice, and sunshine.

Origami Study Break
Students explore the complex art of origami as a part of a study break workshop during Harvard for Japan Week on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Quincy Dining Hall. Their goal is to fold one thousand paper cranes. Known as "Senbazuru" in Japanese, a thousand paper cranes symbolize a wish for speedy recovery from disaster or illness.

James Gleick '76 answers a question about the nature of information and information gathering at the Brattle Theatre on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Hosted by the Harvard Bookstore, this event featured readings from Gleick's new book "The Information: A History, a Theory, a Flood."
Bagpipes Section
The Boston Police Department's bagpipe band play a tribute to St. Patrick's Day. This organization, known as 'Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums,' specializes in the traditional music of the Gaelic culture.
Japan Benefit Dinner
Students line up at a buffet during a benefit dinner in support of disaster relief efforts in Japan. Organized by Harvard Students for Japan, the dinner was held Saturday night at Winthrop dining hall. Proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.
Parade Salutations
City officials greet the crowds present at the 2011 St. Patrick's Day Parade in Boston. Many other government representatives made an appearance at this year's parade, including ones from the Boston Fire Department and the United States Navy.
Crowd Control
Boston Police help to contain the continuous flow of people coming off the T station. The Broadway stop on the subway's red line marks the beginning of this year's parade which started at 1:00pm.
Green Spirit
Parade onlookers crowd the sidewalks near the start of the St. Patrick's Day parade. Decked in countless varieties of green memorabilia, this year's crowd did not fail to live up to the Irish spirit.
The Big Man
St. Patrick himself makes an appearance at the 2011 parade. On one of the more colorful parade floats of the day, the saint receives a warm welcome from the crowds.
On Broadway
Hundreds of people line the sides of Broadway Street on Sunday, March 20, 2011. The annual march takes place in the historically Irish neighborhood of South Boston.
