The Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act has dipped its toes into the muddy waters of online data exposure. It protects very few. But we can start here at Harvard by making sure our privacy policies actually protect us. We can speak up and advocate for a federal privacy law that protects not just a few, but all.
Harvard Posts Mixed Results Over Title IX Celebration Weekend
The Harvard women’s volleyball team hosted a competitive double-header as it continued Ivy League play in front of students, alumni, parents, and fans this past weekend. The hosts showed their resilience, bouncing back from the previous weekend’s loss to Dartmouth and topping Penn in a tight five-setter for its second win of the season on Friday. The next day, however, the Crimson, despite respectable performances from its players, came up short against a strong Princeton offense. Saturday’s matchup was a headline of the Title IX Celebration Weekend, which commemorated the 50th anniversary of women’s athletics at the College.

The Harvard men’s volleyball team fell to New Jersey Institute of Technology on Thursday at University Park, P.A., in the semifinals of the 2022 Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association tournament. The match was the Crimson’s first trip to the playoffs since it won the tournament in 2018.
Harvard Men’s Volleyball Claims Ivy League Championship After Back-to-Back Victories Against Princeton
The last point of the Harvard men’s volleyball team’s Ivy League matchup with Princeton on Saturday was also its longest, with Princeton hitters sending the Crimson scrambling past the press box and to the back wall of the Malkin Athletic Center to keep the ball in play. At the end of the 40-second rally, however, Harvard emerged victorious, sealing a decisively successful double-header weekend against the Tigers and its fourth-straight win.
Men’s Volleyball Ends Preseason with Loss to Purdue Fort Wayne
The Harvard men’s volleyball team (2-4) fell to Purdue Fort Wayne (6-4) on Saturday, abruptly ending the team’s two-game win streak at the Malkin Athletic Center. Shouts and cheers from fans and players alike reverberated through the vaulted ceilings of the MAC’s top floor in the first match of the spring semester but ultimately resulted in a Harvard loss.
Harvard Women’s Volleyball Finishes 2021 Campaign With Significant Improvement
Last weekend the women’s volleyball team finished out its season, losing to Brown (20-4, 13-1 Ivy League) and Yale (16-7, 9-5) with scores of 3-0 and 3-2, respectively. The Crimson’s 10-13, 7-7 record is a marked improvement from its previous season’s record of 5-18, 2-10 in 2019.

The top floor of the Malkin Athletic Center erupted in cheers from students and parents alike as sophomore hitter Ashley Wang delivered a kill to clinch the fourth set for the Crimson (9-10, 6-4 Ivy League) in Saturday’s match against the University of Pennsylvania (6-13, 3-7). The Quakers had cruised through the first two sets, but Harvard clawed its way back in the third and fourth to send the match into a decider. Despite saving five match points, the Crimson could not turn the corner and lost the fifth set 18-16.

‘Tis the Ski-son: A Year in Review
The lack of snow in Cambridge this year has not stopped the Harvard Alpine and Nordic ski teams from having a historic season. Last week, the ski team concluded its regular season by placing 10th out of 26 teams at the Williams Carnival.
