The Columbia team was fortified with the experience of four wins this season, and came on top with one fall and five decisions. The large number of decisions indicates the closeness of each match. Harvard scored a decision and a fall. The decision of the referee was given to Arthur Klein '32, in the 125-pound class, after a hard struggle, and J. H. Crandon '33 won a victory, pinning his opponent's shoulders to the ground, in the 135-pound match. In most of the heavier bouts Harvard lost by decision after one or more overtime periods. Baker of Columbia, however, scored a fall over R. W. Straus '31, in the unlimited weight class, after a furiously pitched battle. D. B. Dorman '32 fought in the 145-pound class instead of P. O. Johnson, who was on the sick-list.
