For Harvard wrestling, the 2013-2014 season was a roller coaster of highs and lows from the very beginning. The squad saw injuries, comebacks, upsets, and no shortage of tough competition throughout the year, finishing with an overall record of 4-8 and going 4-7 in EIWA conference competition.

The Harvard wrestling team outpaced Brown from the very beginning this past Saturday afternoon, seizing control from the outset and holding on to claim the victory. The Crimson (4-6, 3-6 EIWA) outlasted the Bears (3-8, 1-7) on the road for the second consecutive year, notching the win with a final score of 30-10.

Two weeks ago, Harvard wrestling dug itself out of a serious deficit to claim the win. The squad found itself in an almost identical situation twice this weekend, but this time, it was unable to claw its way back into the lead on either occasion.

The Harvard men’s squash team endured several tight matches against St. Lawrence Saturday night, but it was the match between top-ranked Ali Farag and the Saints’ Amr Khalifa that stole the show, as the senior found himself face-to-face with the opponent that eliminated him from the last year’s CSA Individual Championships. Anchored by Farag’s victory over Khalifa, the No. 2 Crimson (8-0, 3-0 Ivy) clinched the victory, 8-1, over St. Lawrence (8-2).
