Shinny in Minny: Previewing Men's Hockey's Trip Up To Minnesota for a Weekend Back-to-Back
The last time the Harvard men’s hockey team played at the University of Minnesota, Jimmy Vesey ’16 hadn’t won his Hobey Baker yet. Now, the No. 13/11 Crimson will need some heroics to get past the No. 7/6 Gophers this weekend. In 69 years and 29 games of series history, Harvard has never beaten Minnesota on the road in regulation.

Athlete of the Week: Charlie Booker Runs All Over Lafayette
In the 700th game played at Harvard Stadium, Crimson running back Charlie Booker had a performance for the ages. Against Lafayette, the junior racked up a career-high 159 rushing yards on 23 carries and added a touchdown. He was an integral piece of Harvard’s relentless running game and 38-10 domination of the Leopards.

Rebecca Nadler '14 will become the first Harvard skier to be chosen to the newly created William S. Broadbent Family Harvard Skiing All-Time Team. She will be honored later this year.

Men's Hockey Earns Top Seed in East Regional of NCAA Tournament
On Friday, the Crimson will travel to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. to face off against No. 12/12 Providence College, as released by the NCAA on Sunday. The puck will drop at 4:00 p.m. EST and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

While this week’s Athlete of the Week honors went to members of the Ivy League Championship winning women’s squash team, four other student-athletes had especially impressive performances this week, earning them Athlete of the Week runners-up honors.

Following two strong opening wins by seniors Dileas MacGowan (No. 9) and Katie Tutrone (No. 6), Leonard came back from a 6-10 deficit in the fifth set, winning six consecutive points for an emphatic 12-10 win in the deciding match for Harvard to gain a three match advantage.
