The Harvard softball team has had a busy week. A three-game sweep over Brown this past weekend and a doubleheader against Massachusetts neighbor Merrimack have bolstered the Crimson’s confidence as they wade through the depths of midseason play.

Harvard Softball Out for Revenge, Ready to Reclaim Ivy League Title

After falling to Princeton in the 2022 Ivy League Softball Championship, the Crimson is ready to reclaim their lost title. The Harvard softball team was ranked second behind the Princeton Tigers in the 2023 Ivy League Preseason Poll, and this second place ranking may be the motivation the Crimson need to upset predictions and defeat the reigning champions.

Softball Takes on Spring Break Competition Coast-To-Coast

Ten games, nine days, two coasts, and one Ivy League rivalry later, Harvard softball had a whirlwind of a spring break. Jetting off to California to start a non-stop onslaught of competition, Harvard (8-11, 2-1 Ivy) competed in the UCR/CBU Classic against the University of North Dakota (10-22), California Baptist University (18-16), and Saint Mary’s College (11-10).
