“It is my country—I should be sentimental, and I should be relating to them, but at the same time, how is that helping anyone?” says Leen Al-Kassab ’18. “That’s not going to change the fact that I have a midterm tomorrow. That’s not going to change the fact that I have a pset due at midnight that has to be turned in.”
