{shortcode-3ede6cb5284476ebebad5420a0ae2b0678f6990e}No more counting down the days and hours (we know, we know, it was eagerly anticipated) until changes are finally made to the Harvard PIN system login screen, because the much-anticipated date of September 22 is finally almost here. Or so we thought.
Apparently, HarvardKey, the new login screen that touts a “single identity for life” will not in fact be unveiled tomorrow for everyone. It turns out that you need to receive an invitation to begin using it, and undergrads, as a part of FAS, will receive this on November 12. According to HarvardKey’s video, only alumni have access to it tomorrow on September 22, and it will take the next 18 months for the entirety of the Harvard community to gain access to it. While you can in fact see the new login page (and admire how much more aesthetically pleasing it is than the old gray and red screen), FAS members currently still have to use their HUID to sign in. By the way, this new login screen is not to be confused with Crimson Key, the group that gives tours and takes pictures in outfits essentially from That 70’s Show.HarvardKey: An Eagerly Anticipated Wait
