Get ready for the most anticipated sports event of the season. This weekend means Super Bowl Sunday, and whether you want to watch the New England Patriots crush the New York Giants (or vice-versa), Madonna's halftime performance, or the always entertaining commercials, a viewing party is sure to enhance the experience. Look no further for your viewing needs, as Flyby has the scoop on the premier Super Bowl parties and events going on around campus.

If you enjoy cheap wings at the Cambridge Queen's Head Pub, consider dropping in on the Super Bowl festivities there, which start at 5:30 p.m. The Queen's Head will be offering free food to enjoy while you cheer on your favorite team.

If you don't feel like trekking further than a few blocks to a viewing location, go to one of the parties hosted by the following four Houses. Winthrop, Quincy, Mather, and Currier Houses are all providing free food and assorted beverages at their Super Bowl events.

Harvard Hillel is also throwing a Super Bowl party in the Hillel dining hall. The dinner starts at 5:00 p.m., and all food will be free and kosher.

Finally, you can venture off campus to various Super Bowl events in Harvard Square. Sweet Cupcakes will be serving special cupcakes with jerseys and team logos, while Bertucci's and Crazy Dough's Pizza Co. will be offering special discounts during the game. For those with an extremely hearty appetite, Russell House Tavern will be serving a "Giant-killer" burger: two beef patties topped with two fried eggs, ham, and some cheddar cheese sauce. You can forget your cholesterol for the day. It's the Super Bowl after all.
