If you put in the work, Harvard is not only a school where one could end up with an exceptional degree, but also a decent husband. Harvard recently ranked in YourTango.com's list of top ten colleges for finding a husband.

The website prioritized factors such as school rankings, graduate salaries, and alumni generosity as metrics for quality husband hunting.

Harvard was chosen alongside Stanford, Princeton, and Williams College. Williams was selected as a result of its ranking as the number one liberal arts college in the country and its high mid-career salaries. Harvard was chosen for its notoriety as the number one university in the nation, as well as the "legacy factor" in admissions.  Aside from Harvard and Princeton, no other Ivies made the list (a noticeable lack of Yale, one might note).

CORRECTION: September 10, 2011

The September 9 post "Harvard Ranks on Top Colleges for Husband Hunting" incorrectly identifies Harvard as fourth in YourTango.com's list of top ten colleges for finding a husband. The list is, in fact, unranked.
