Hello comrades,

We at FlyBy missed your shining intellects, your illuminating comments on this here Web-thingie, and your blinding, Widener-induced pallors on campus. But we're sure that spring break has changed some things. A more rotund beer belly perhaps? Maybe that new stripper girlfriend? An unacceptable tan? Or, if you're like us, a newfound appreciation for wearing Snuggies while wallowing in a deep, deep vegetative state. Whatever your spring break style was, no problem—we're an all-inclusive family, and we welcome you all back.

But you probably missed some things, which you can familiarize yourself with after the jump.

  • Girl Talk is reclaiming that virile innocence he lost at Harvard back in November, sweeping the dust from that musical massacre off of his electronic toys, and taking them all to Yale for Spring Fling. And oh, the alternative hip hop group N*E*R*D ("No-one Ever Really Dies." Um, yeah) is also coming. Any group that can sing the line "Her ass is a spaceship I want to ride" with a straight face must be a good one.
  • Economics lecturer Jeffrey A. Miron thinks the U.S. should legalize drugs, because, as he simply puts it, it's the "only way to reduce violence." Prohibition means underground markets and the concomitant violence and corruption, he argues. Take Ec 1017 to learn more.
  • Boston College abruptly rescinded two student groups' invitation to former Weather Underground member William Ayers to speak on campus. The spokesman for BC said he had no clue Ayers was due to speak until the Boston Herald told him so—and shortly thereafter, the event was canceled. But indefatigable student organizers are trying to get the founding member of the violent, radical left organization to speak off-campus.
  • And we leave you with a very important question as you all begin to polish off the remaining few weeks of the school year: Is This You?
