Feb. 15:
7:26 p.m.--A resident in Peabody Terrace requested an escort into her apartment. Following an interview with the resident, HUPD officers arrested Robert Ratliff, 29, of Cambridge, for assault.
Feb. 17:
2:37 a.m.--HUPD units responded to a report of a loud group of students standing outside on DeWolfe Street. The group was gone when police arrived.
11 a.m.--Police responded to a report of a suspicious briefcase on the 7th floor of the Holyoke Center. Fire officials were also notified. By the time police arrived someone had opened the briefcase and found it be empty.
10:52 p.m.--A guard reported a suspicious person at the back door of Gutman Library on Appian Way. When the guard approached the man, he fled. Police were unable to locate the person.
Feb. 19:
A caller to CPD complained the Cambridge Fire Department had broken the front grill of his car when they extinguished a fire under the car's hood.
