Feb. 13:

1:50 p.m.--A caller from the Spee Club reported that his cell phone had been stolen. When he dialed his own telephone number, a person he knew answered the stolen phone.

5:45 p.m.--The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) arrested Ketra Tatum of Dorchester for shoplifting a $189.50 pair of leather underwear from a store in the CambridgeSide Galleria mall. Tatum allegedly tried on the underwear, then left the store wearing them without paying.

Feb. 14:

The BankBoston at 1414 Mass. Ave. was robbed at gunpoint. The robber escaped with $2,200.

Also on Monday, a 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen in the city, bringing the total number of Camrys stolen since November to almost 60. Cambridge police have no leads on the theft ring but now believe that the thefts may be drug-related. Although six arrests have been made thus far, the department said it believes the ring continues to operate.

1:33 p.m.--A caller to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) reported seeing a person from a wanted poster selling Spare Change, a local newspaper, in Harvard Square. HUPD units could not locate the individual.

6:39 p.m.--HUPD officers responded to a report that the occupants of a Ford Bronco had thrown a flaming object onto Brattle St. Neither CPD nor HUPD could locate the vehicle. The flaming object was determined to be a ball of paper, and it was extinguished.

7:43 p.m.--An HUPD officer assisted in terminating the employment of a Leverett House Dining Hall employee.
