Louis Edozian was the only thinclad to triumph in a jumping event, bounding 47 feet, 4 inches in the triple jump.
Sophomore Lance Miller established a personal best of 55.74 in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles, while Chuck Johnson crossed the line second in the 110 meter hurdles.
Besides the clutch showing in the 200 meter sprint, the tracksters got mileage in the 100 meter race from Joe Salvo (first in 11.2) and Chapus (third in 11.33).
Peter Fitzsimmons again displayed prowess in the 3000-meter steeplechase, outrunning his nearest opponent by an eternal 14 seconds.
But in spite of all the strong performances, the Crimson is still without a victory over N.U. in four years.
