The Mail A PAINTER'S HELPER REPLIES.

Workers at Harvard Trust have been told that it is for the benefit of Harvard University students that they are staying open until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. This is a statement cleverly designed to take the blame off the management of the Harvard Trust and to divert attention from the central issue, namely, that they have gotten no raise with the increased hours.

This action by the Harvard Trust management can only intensify hostile feelings on the part of workers toward students. It is an outrageous statement on the management's part.

Let us at least express our feelings, in the hope that this will deflect the course of this outrageous action.

SPIRO'S GONNA GET YOU

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

The remarks of Harvard's three isolators of the gene, as reported in the CRIMSON of Nov. 24, are a superb example of why some intellectuals should not be allowed to vote. How far can Leftist paranoia go? The suggestion that the present administration would offhandedly sterilize or emasculate thousands of people is so absurd that it suggests that its authors would themselves make good subjects for study at the Medical School. Dare one remind men that they are lucky enough to live in America, where the Bill of Rights and the electoral process are still in effect? Dare one wonder whether any of the money they used for their research came from a government grant? One hopes that they were joking, but the account in the CRIMSON gave no sign of it.
