1. The Commandant, the officers of the French Military Mission, Reserve Officers detailed to duty with the Reserve Officers' Training Corps, tactical instructors, other instructors with relative rank, aides, and all cadet officers (captains and lieutenants) will be accorded when in uniform the courtesies prescribed in paragraphs 758-765, Infantry Drill Regulations. Cadet non-commissioned officers (sergeants and corporals) are not saluted except as prescribed in paragraph 172, Infantry Drill Regulations, or in formations where the non-commissioned officer receives reports for the officer in charge. All cadets should, however, stand at attention when addressed by or addressing a non-commissioned officer in uniform.
2. The Governor of the Commonwealth and the President of the University will be accorded the same courtesies as the Commandant. Regular and Reserve Officers of the United States military and naval forces when in uniform will be accorded the same courtesies as tactical instructors.
3. At all lectures and section meetings in Military Science, members of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps will rise and stand at "attention" on the entrance of the lecturer or instructor.
4. At all formations in ranks, except when actually receiving instruction, cadets will be brought to "attention" by the cadet officer or non-commissioned officer in charge on the approach of the Commandant or a tactical instructor.
5. This order will be published for the information of all cadets at the first formation following the date of its issue. WM. F. FLYNN, Major, U. S. Army, Commandant.

Members of the R.O.T.C. who desire to have typhoid innoculation should apply at Weld 4 between 1.30 and 4.00 p.m. on any day except Saturday. R. G. FULLER, Adjutant.

1. Buttons will be worn by all members of the Regiment until they receive their uniforms.
2. After Saturday, October 6, no transfers from companies will be made at Headquarters. Such transfers will go through regular military channels and be made to the 1st sergeant of the company.
3. Every man who has not been assigned to a company and who has not already reported this fact at Headquarters must do so Saturday, October 6.
