PRINCETON WINS.

Her Eleven Proves too Strong for Harvard's Players.

On the next down, Harvard got the ball for holding, and immediately lost it for the same reason. Harvard did some clever defensive work, and Princeton had to give up the balls on downs.

After an exchange of punts Harvard had the ball on her 25 yard line. Lea gave place to Tyler. After an effectual rush by Dunlop, Brewer punted to the middle of the field. Princeton failed to gain on two downs, and on the last chance held. So Harvard once more had the ball in the centre of the field.

A play at tackle failed by three yards, and another at centre. This was followed by a punt, which Princeton failed to block. The punt was returned to middle of the field.

Borden fumbled after a drive for three yards by Dunlop, and Princeton rushed down the field. In stopping Baird A. Brewer was hurt.

Finally, after a fumble, and some more of Cabot's fine tackling, Baird was forced to punt. Brewer caught the punt on Harvard's 10 yard line. Princeton played offside, and Harvard was advanced 10 yards, only to be forced to punt by reason of poor offensive work.

In stopping Baird's dive, F. Shaw was slightly injured. He was replaced by Doucette.

Princeton lost the ball for holding and Harvard did the same on the next play. Harvard stood firm in the next two endeavors, and Princeton again punted to Brewer, who stood on Harvard's 10 yard line. Brewer kicked but the ball was blocked and rolled over the line. Rosengarten dropped on it for a touchdown. Suter failed to kick the goal and the score was 8 to 4 in Princeton's favor.

The final touchdown was made in less than five minutes. Harvard's kick-off was returned to the middle of the field. Cabot, Dunlop and Wrightington together managed to gain just five yards in three downs. Harvard was held for three downs and the blocked punt was got by Wrightington.

Borden decided to use Gonterman for several successive plays, but he failed to gain. Brewer had to punt. The kick was blocked, and this time Princeton had the ball on Harvard's 10 yard line. Bannard bucked the centre in vain, but on a double pass Suter circled Harvard's left end for a touchdown. The touchdown was made way over near the side line, so a kick-out was tried. No goal was kicked. Score, 12 to 4.

Less than a minute remained, and the game was called with the ball a short distance into Princeton's territory.

The line-up:

Cabot, l. e. r. e., Cochran.
