SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Oct. 17. - The Yale football team defeated the Dartmouth eleven on Hampden Park today, 34 to 0, in a fairly interesting game.
The Dartmouth line held Yale well and the gains were made round the ends. Mill's 60 yard run, and a 10 yard run by DeWitt gave Yale a touchdown after eight minutes of play. After one more touchdown had been made, Thorne kicked a goal from the field, and just before the end of the half scored another touchdown, making the score 21 to 0.
In the second half three scores were made, the first being a drop kick by Thorne, the second a safety by Folsom, and the third a touchdown by DeWitt. Dartmouth never had the ball nearer Yale's goal than the 30 yard line.
