Harvard University Cycling Association.

CONSTITUTION.

ARTICLE I.This association shall be known as the Harvard University Cycling Association.

ARTICLE II.The object of this association shall be the advancement and improvement of cycling in Harvard University.

ARTICLE III.The membership of this association shall be limited to the officers and students of Harvard University.

ARTICLE IV.The management of this association shall be entrusted to an executive committee, consisting of nine members, the president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, captain, and one representative from each class-who shall all be elected for a term of one year.

ARTICLE V.Any member of Harvard University shall become a life member of this association by paying the entrance fee and signing the constitution.

ARTICLE VI.There shall be an annual meeting of this association held on the second Thursday in October. A special meeting may be called at any time during the college term by three members of the executive committee, or ten members of the association. Notice of all meetings shall be published in the DAILY CRIMSON for at least three days preceding said meetings. Nine members present at any meeting shall constitute a quorum.

ARTICLE VII.The election of all officers, and the three upper class representatives to the executive committee, shall be held at the annual meeting. The freshman representative shall be elected by the executive committee, some time during the first half year. Any office made vacant by resignation, or otherwise, shall be filled, by election, at a special meeting of the association, which shall be called for that purpose, as soon as possible after the vacancy occurs. Such election shall be for a term ending with the next annual meeting of the association. A majority vote of all the members present at a meeting, shall be required to elect. All elections shall be by ballot.

ARTICLE VIII.No addition, alteration or amendment shall be made to this constitution at any meeting, except by a two-thirds vote of all the members present. At least seven days notice of such change must be published in the DAILY CRIMSON.
