Fact and Rumor.

The Sunday Globe contained an article on the Harvard, Yale and Princeton elevens, enumerating the chances of each for winning the championship. It showed a careful study and observation of the subject.

The following football games will be played today: Stevens vs. Lafayette at Hoboken; Trinity vs. Wesleyan at Middletown; Johns Hopkins vs. Kendall college at Baltimore.

The work of tearing down the halls of the two literary societies, Whig and Clio, at Princeton, has been stopped, owing to the strong feeling among graduates against destroying these buildings.

The following is the schedule of the Yale freshman eleven for the remainder of the season: November 16, Columbia Grammar School, at New York; November 20, Berkeley Lyceum at the Field; November 30, Harvard freshmen, at New Haven.

At the election of the freshman Glee club last night in Roberts hall. the following men were chosen: President, F. H. Gade; vice-president, H. Parker; secretary, Cummings; leader, S. Farwell who was leader of the Andover Glee club for two years.
