Harvard, '86, nine; Phillips Andover Academy, five.The freshmen defeated the Phillips Andover Academy nine, at Andover on Saturday, in a very poor fielding game. The chief feature of the game was the pitching of Chamberlain, only one hit being made off his delivery. He was, however, unfortunate in making his first error of the season, outside of bases on balls. For Harvard, Austin and Kimball led in fielding, Kimball in batting. For Andover, Vinton pitched effectively, and made the only hit of his side. The following is the score:
