The sophomores supported their crew in the race by chartering a tug and following the crew and cheering heartily and continuously throughout the whole race.
The 9 A. M. express train from Boston on the B. & A. R. R. will get to New Haven in time for the game tomorrow. Return from New Haven at 6.28 P. M. arriving in Boston at 10.42 P. M.
There will be a one-hour examination in Spanish I. on Wednesday, May 16th, in Sever 35, instead of the stated recitation of that day. The subject of the examination will be the Grammar (Verbs) and no text or blank books need be brought in.
Dr. Sargent wishes all members of the senior class who have been once examined physically to make appointments for another examination before June 1. As '83 is the first class with which comparisons of developments between the freshman and senior year can be made, it is important that there should be a complete examination.
An audience which completely filled the Sanders Theatre was present last evening to hear the readings for the Boylston prizes. The names of the successful contestants were announced from the stage and are as follows: 1st prizes, F. L. Sawyer, '83; G. B. Morrison, '83. 2d prizes, W. H. Page, '83; E. B. Jack, '84; G. R. Agassiz, '84.
