Tennis Titans: Harvard Women Outplay UMass in Pre-Ivy Showdown
Returning from a successful 3-0 spring break trip to California, the No. 50 Harvard women’s tennis team (14-2, 0-0 Ivy) defeated the University of Massachusetts (8-6, 0-1 Atlantic 10) 4-1 on Saturday at the Murr Center. The victory in its final non-conference match of the season extended the Crimson's win streak to an astounding 10 games.

The Harvard women's tennis team (10-2, 0-0) kicked off March with impressive home victories against Boston University and Army, displaying dominant results which saw the Crimson down their opponents in two decisive 4-0 victories.
Harvard Women's Tennis Roars Back: Dominant Sweeps and Redemption at 2024 ECAC Championship
Returning to its home courts this weekend for the first time since the season opener, Harvard women’s tennis (8-2) hosted the 2024 ECAC Championship at the Murr Center, hosting Ivy League foes Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn, Princeton, and Yale. Over the three day tournament, the Crimson fell to Yale, but delivered decisive sweeps against both Cornell and Dartmouth the following days.

Close to the halfway mark of its 2022-23 season, Harvard’s women’s tennis team looks to continue improving. With a 6-5 start already, the Crimson is gearing up for its Ivy League season in April, undeterred by any previous setbacks, and dedicating itself to success.

Harvard Women's Tennis Wraps Up Fall Season With Strong Performances at Harvard Invitational
In its final competition of the fall season, Harvard’s women’s tennis team faced off against Boston College and Boston University at home for the Harvard Invitational. Throughout the short fall season, the Crimson saw action at the ITA Super Regionals, Brown Quad Invite, and Harvard Fall Classic, with overall positive results. The Harvard Invitational gave players a chance to compete in a dual-match format, the predominant format for the spring season.
