Fresh off an historic 2023-24 campaign, which saw the team achieve 19 victories, a second-place Ivy League finish, and its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2010, the Crimson appeared determined to carry that momentum into the new season. Over the three-day Harvard Fall Classic tournament, Harvard faced a trio of local rivals—Boston College, Boston University, and Providence—and left no doubt about their potential, notching a string of dominant victories.

Returning from a successful 3-0 spring break trip to California, the No. 50 Harvard women’s tennis team (14-2, 0-0 Ivy) defeated the University of Massachusetts (8-6, 0-1 Atlantic 10) 4-1 on Saturday at the Murr Center. The victory in its final non-conference match of the season extended the Crimson's win streak to an astounding 10 games.

Harvard Women's Tennis Roars Back: Dominant Sweeps and Redemption at 2024 ECAC Championship

Returning to its home courts this weekend for the first time since the season opener, Harvard women’s tennis (8-2) hosted the 2024 ECAC Championship at the Murr Center, hosting Ivy League foes Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn, Princeton, and Yale. Over the three day tournament, the Crimson fell to Yale, but delivered decisive sweeps against both Cornell and Dartmouth the following days.
