Harvard Women's Hockey Ends Season with 9-0 Loss to Quinnipiac, Crashes Out of ECAC Tournament
After a challenging regular season, the Harvard women’s hockey team (5-23-2, 3-18-1 ECAC) headed down to Hamden, Conn. to face off against the No. 9 Quinnipiac Bobcats (26-9-1, 13-9-0) on Saturday. The Crimson was hoping for success in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament. Unfortunately for Harvard, the team fell short against the Bobcats, losing 9-0 and marking the end of the Crimson’s 2023-2024 season.
Harvard Drops Last Home Contests Against Brown and Yale
Unable to bounce back from its 2-0 loss to Dartmouth last weekend, Harvard (5-20-2, 3-16-1 ECAC) women’s ice hockey lost both games of its double-header to Brown (11-13-3, 7-10-3 ECAC) and No. 14/RV Yale (14-12-1, 11-8-1 ECAC), 3-1 and 3-0, respectively.
Mixed Performance for Women's Hockey against Union and Dartmouth
After suffering tough losses at No. 6 Cornell and No. 3 Colgate this past weekend, the Harvard Crimson (5-17-2) bounced back in New York against the Union Garnet Chargers (8-18-2) with a 3-1 victory on Wednesday night. Following the victory, the Crimson posted a loss to Dartmouth on Saturday, 0-2.
Mixed Performances for the Harvard Women’s Hockey Team at the 2024 Beanpot, Capped by Thrilling OT Win in Consolation Game
For the first time ever, the Dunkin Women’s Beanpot – a hockey tournament in which Boston powerhouses Harvard, Northeastern, Boston College and Boston University compete in a two-round playoff – was held at TD Garden. The Crimson (4-16-2, 2-12-1 ECAC), fell to Northeastern (17-9-1, 10-7-1 HEA) – who ultimately won the entire event – 1-0 in the first round at home in Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
Harvard Women’s Ice Hockey Drops Two Games to Ranked Opponents on New York Roadtrip
The Harvard women’s ice hockey team (4-17-2, 2-13-1 ECAC), who dropped games to No. 6 Cornell (17-5-1, 12-4-0) and No. 4 Colgate (23-3-1, 14-1-0) earlier in the season, was once again bested by its ranked N.Y. rivals this past weekend 7-2 and 10-1, respectively.

Harvard Closes Out the First Half of the Season with Up-and-Down Weekend
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Harvard women’s ice hockey played three games, but was unable to come out of the weekend with any points. In its first game, the Crimson took a trip up to Durham, N.H., where it faced the New Hampshire Wildcats (7-7-1). With Harvard unable to find the back of the net, the Wildcats pulled away with a 3-0 win, having scored a goal in each period. The Wildcats’ Brooke Hammer had an impressive performance, putting up three points with two goals and an assist.
