Refreshed Women’s Golf Team Kicks off the Year with Momentum
The Harvard Women’s Golf team headed out to Princeton, N.J. this past weekend to face 12 teams in its second bout of the year at the Princeton Invitational. Once scores were tallied and the second tournament of the fall season was said and done, the Crimson marked down a seventh overall finish with a total score of 57 over par. Among the six Ivy League teams in attendance, Harvard placed fifth.
Women's Golf Narrowly Bests Abilene Christian and Dartmouth
The Crimson headed down to Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City Beach Florida this weekend for the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic hosted by Lipscomb University where it narrowly beat Abilene Christian (894) and Dartmouth College (907) with a total team score of 892 to take home first place, securing the team’s second tournament win in its 6 tournaments this year.

The ninth hole at the Yale Golf Course in New Haven, Conn. The Harvard women's golf team competed at the Yale Invitational last weekend, taking first place out of 15 teams.

First-Year Golfer Lauren Wong Makes Impressive Debut at Yale Invitational
Entering her first collegiate golf tournament at this year’s Yale Invitational, first-year Lauren Wong immediately made a statement on the green. Walking onto the team was already a huge personal victory for Wong, and this weekend was the icing on the cake. Competing in the individual event, she finished with an impressive score of three-over 75 and posted the second most pars in the event with 15. Wong finished the tournament tied for 15th.

While the majority of Harvard students are hitting the books in preparation for finals, Harvard golf will be playing in its biggest tournament of the year at the Ivy League Championships this weekend. The stakes of the tournament are high — not only is an Ivy League crown on the table, but a trip to NCAA regionals is as well.
To the Moon: Naree Song and Harvard Women’s Golf Set Big Goals for 2023 Spring Season
After 18 seasons with the Harvard women’s golf team and ten seasons with the Harvard men’s golf, former professional golf player and head coach Kevin Rhoads will split his time in half as former assistant head coach Naree Song transitions into taking over the women’s golf team as head coach.
Hole in One
Naree Song became the head coach for the Harvard women's golf team, having been a former assistant coach for the Crimson since 2015. On February 18, Harvard competed in a scrimmage against Rollins College, where Song used to coach, a match that ended in a draw.

The Harvard men and women golf teams got ready and headed to New Jersey over the weekend of April 22nd to compete in the first Ivy League Championships for golf since 2019.
Women's Golf Places 2nd at Hoya Invitational; Men Suffer Setback at Princeton
Harvard golf had a busy weekend, with the men going to Princeton, N.J. to compete in the Princeton Invitational, and the women traveling to Rockville, Md. to compete in the Hoya Invitational. The men’s team had some trouble getting into the swing of things, placing 13th out of 15 competitors at 31 over par. Meanwhile, the women came in second.
