Harvard Hockey’s Max Everson Acquired By Boston Bruins: Max Everson will begin his professional career not too far afield from the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The Boston Bruins acquired the negotiation rights for the former Harvard men’s hockey co-captain on Monday and expect him to sign an entry-level deal with their American Hockey League affiliate in Providence in the coming days.
Women’s Soccer Falls to Crosstown Eagles, 2-1: It was a tale of two halves for the Harvard women’s soccer team on Wednesday night. A dominant second half by the Crimson proved not to be enough as the team fell to Boston College, 2-1, in the team’s home opener at Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium. Harvard outshot the Eagles 13-2 in the game’s final 45 minutes but could not overcome two separate one-goal deficits.

College Rolls Out New Smartphone App: The application is part of a two-pronged package from the Council. Omni, which is Latin for “all,” consolidates similar features from the old application, including a dining hall menu and shuttle tracking services, but eliminated others such as information about libraries and financial aid.
Benefit Changes Bring Relief, and Potentially Confusion: Although some affected employees say they are cautiously optimistic about new changes to Harvard's health benefit offerings, the chair of the body that recommended the changes said he is “worried” that Harvard faculty and staff might have difficulty navigating the numerous health plan options.
