Hip-hop artist Wale will also be performing at Yardfest, the Harvard Concert Commission and the College Events Board just announced.

In the first Yardfest in two years to feature three artists, Wale will be performing at the April 18 concert along with Kid Cudi and Patrick Park.

His first album, "Attention Deficit," was released on Nov. 10, 2009 and made its way up to number 21 on the Billboard 200. Popular singles include "Pretty Girls" and "Chillin," which features Lady Gaga.

And word to the wise, his name is pronounced "wah-lay," saving him from what could be a very unfortunate rhyme.

CORRECTION: March 26, 2010

An earlier verison of the Mar. 26 post "Wale To Be Third Artist at Yardfest" incorrectly stated that hip-hop artist Wale's name rhymes with Yale. In fact, his name is pronounced "wah-lay."
