More than 3,600 Students Vote in UC Presidential Election

With more than 50 percent of the student body casting ballots in the election, all three referenda easily met the threshold of support necessary to become the UC’s official positions. The UC is bound to throw its support behind student-initiated referenda that gain a majority of the votes whenever at least 25 percent of students participate in the election.
