The Harvard sailing team impressed in its final tune-up before this weekend’s Atlantic Coast Championships, going a perfect 19-0 in the Michael Horn Trophy Team Race. Sailing at home once again proved beneficial to the Crimson, who was the decisive victor of the regatta.
For the first 10 races, skippers and co-captains Jon Garrity and Megan Watson were joined by sophomore skipper John Stokes, sophomore crews Grace Charles and Meghan Wareham, and junior crew Michelle Konstadt.
Sophomore skippers Alan Palmer and Teddy Himler led the way in the final nine races, alongside freshman skipper Emily Lambert. Senior Lauren Brants, freshman Annie DeAngelo, and sophomore Quincy Bock served as crews.
Brown was the overall runner-up, finishing the weekend 15-4.
Both the co-ed and the women’s teams will compete at ACCs this weekend. The co-eds will sail at Hobart and William Smith in Geneva, N.Y., and the women will travel to Georgetown in Washington, D.C.
