8:17 a.m.—A report of a stolen home plate led an officer to a baseball field in Allston. The officer found that, in addition to the theft, a few sand bags and a tarp had been dumped onto the field.
10:46 p.m.—An officer was sent to an apartment on 83 Brattle St. because of a reported forced entry, in which a set of keys and a $2000 laptop computer had been found missing.
April 27:
12:48 a.m.—An officer responded to Adams House because of the theft of a laptop computer that had been left unattended in a common room. The stolen computer was valued at $250.
3:44 a.m.—An officer took note of a “suspicious” call that had been received in dispatch. The caller was seeking to file a complaint against a few affiliates of Harvard.
6:13 p.m.—An unwanted individual who allegedly attempted to gain access to dinner at Adams House prompted an officer to search the area for the perpetrator. The individual could not be found.
April 28:
4:48 p.m.—HUPD officers were sent to the Holyoke Center in response to an unwanted guest who repeatedly entered and exited the men’s room. The responding officers sent the individual away.
7:29 p.m.—An officer tipped the station off to a possible drug transaction taking place on 1238 Mass. Ave. Additional officers, including CPD officers, responded to the scene and took Maryanne S. Hamilton, 22, and Jennifer L. Hayes, 28, into custody. Hamilton of Cambridge and Hayes of Roxbury both face charges of drug possession with intent to distribute.
