9:58 a.m.—An HUPD officer was dispatched to MAC to investigate the theft of an unsecured and unattended brown laptop carrying bag, silver eyeglasses, a silver palm pilot with black keyboard. The stolen items were valued at $580.
March 9:
8:56 p.m.—Officers reported to Holyoke Center because of a report about an individual who had been asked by security to leave the building but had refused. The responding officers found the individual and sent the individual away.
10:34 p.m.—HUPD officers and security were sent to Wigglesworth Hall because of a report that a female had been yelling “no.” The officers could not find anyone in need of assistance in the area.
March 10:
3:01 p.m.—Officers responded to Areeda Hall because of a report of an unkempt person in the tunnels. They were, ultimately, unable to locate the person.
4:47 p.m.—An officer took note of the theft of a security deposit for an apartment at 20 Prescott Street. A total of $1050 had been stolen.
8:13 p.m.—HUPD officers were sent to DeWolfe Street and Memorial Drive to investigate a person who was lying down in the middle of the street. The
responding officers checked the person for outstanding wants or warrants—a search that proved successful. State Police was then notified and placed the person under arrest.
