Life of Brian: They Got Next...Practice

In most cases, the scout team runs the opposition’s plays better than the opposition. Essentially, they out-Brown Brown.

“They’re much better than the teams we play,” Tubridy said. “They’re much better than us. If they played all-out, they would kill us.”

Not that the likes of Peljto and Cserny haven’t posed problems for the guys. Marvels Thomas: “They’re legit. Both of them score just as much against us as they do against anyone. They give us tough matchups.”

The scout team’s support doesn’t end at practice—Cluff, for one, says he’s been to every home contest. Tubridy notes that the team sincerely appreciates the guys’ attendance at the games in addition to the practices.

“Oh yeah, they’re there a lot,” she says. “Some of them are big hockey fans, though.”

Hmmm, can they skate? Coach Katey Stone might be able to use some extra bodies at practice.
