After Liberty closed the gap to just one with 3:52 left in regulation, Cserny connected on four straight free-throw attempts to pad the Crimson lead before fouling out with 2:32 remaining.
Harvard appeared to be in control of the game leading 59-53 with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. The Lady Flames cut the lead to four and then marched even closer as Stephanie Walker picked off a Crimson pass and recorded an easy layup with just over 30 seconds to go.
Harvard won despite being outrebounded 47 to 34 and losing the field-goal percentage battle 42.9 to 36.5.
Peljto had game-highs in points and rebounds with 21 and 11, respectively, while logging 45 minutes on the floor.
