In Pforzheimer House, trained asbestos handlers were called in over the summer to facilitate the replacement of worn-out equipment in these boiler rooms. Ketelhohn said the summer renovation will not completely eliminate asbestos from the Quad Houses under his jurisdiction, but he said he thinks it will bring the Houses close to that final goal.
"I can think of one big boiler room that I believe still has asbestos insulation," Ketelhohn said.

But according to Ketelhohn, this asbestos won't cause any problems.
"[The maintenance men] are very much aware of the danger," Ketelhohn said. They won't work near it after its been disturbed."
