Pride's Place, Post-Harvard

Four years at Harvard makes it all too easy to expect the best from the institutions we join upon graduation. But by itself, the fact that we are from Harvard alone does not entitle us to anything. While it is true that we have much to be proud of, we have to be careful about how we may project this pride once we leave.

Most of us will venture into environments largely populated by people who have degrees from other colleges. And we should earn their respect--not because of where we've come from, but because of what we'll do.
