Two other Crimson players of note were Peljto and junior forward Katie Gates who each contributed 12 points. Peljto added eight of her 12 from the free throw line while attempting a game-high 12 foul shots. Peljto also had a team-high eight rebounds for the Crimson.
The Crimson, which trailed 42-28 at half, was outdone by a balanced Florida attack that featured freshman center Vanessa Hayden and junior Brandi McCain. McCain scored 19 points and added five assists, while Hayden led all scorers with 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
While Harvard lost the consolation game, Florida polished off Maine 87-41 to win the tournament. Harvard fielded no members on the All-Tournament Team.
The Crimson will look to post its first win of the season on Tuesday at 7 p.m. when it hosts New Hampshire at Lavietes Pavilion.
"I think that we're going to take all our frustration out on UNH," Johnson said.
