"The bands selected are obviously very good bands," member Sujean Lee '03 said.
The battle will take place this Saturday in the New Leverett Courtyard following the conclusion of the game across the river. A tarp will provide cover in case of rain.
The only debate on the bill came because of a University-imposed limit of 350 students in the courtyard at a time.
The Harvard University Police Department plans to station six officers at the concert.
While agreeing the number was "regrettably low," council member Steven N. Smith '02 said it was necessary to meet the University's concerns. "We want to cut down on the number of people we let in," Smith said, "Since the Yale students may not have quite as much invested in the school."
The council also plans on hosting a DJ Spinoff in Lowell House on Friday night and a tailgate party at The Game on Saturday.
In other council business, vice president John A. Burton '01 announced the explusion of both remaining Cabot House representatives, David B. Orr '01 and Michael Rosenberg '02.
New elections will be held in early December to replace the members.
