"He didn't commit to sacrificing himself, onlysacrificing others to quotas," Schorr said.
In general, both Republican and Democraticstudents said they were content with the debate.
Schorr said he was pleased with the turnout.
"The attendance was even [between Democrats andRepublicans], which is great because Democratsoutnumber Republicans two to one at the LawSchool," Schorr said.
David L. Calone, a second-year law student andthe co-chair of the HLS Democrats, said he waspleased with the way Grossman portrayed theDemocratic platform.
"I think Chairman Grossman articulated verywell the image of where Democrats want Americansto go," Calone said.
As for Grossman, he said that there were limitsto how much he could have said in an hour debate.
