M. Soccer Avoids Late Eli Charge

Harvard will now have time to contemplate its march through the league as HARVARD  2 YALE  2

It will face four non-conference opponents-beginning tomorrow against Central Connectioncut-before facing off against Cornell on October 18. In between the team journeys to the Golden State to face Stanford and California before returning to Cambridge for a game against Boston University.

"It will be nice to have a break from the Ivy race," Le said. "This will be a test to see how our team can really play."

"It is important at the moment because our region is so up in the air," Williams said about the California trip. "Everyone has beaten everyone this year so if we can pick up a few games this weekend, we'll be in good shape."

With that precious time, the Crimson will look to uncover the winning formula that it so clearly exhibited last year. Perhaps then, the drive home from Ithaca, New York will be a stark contrast to Friday's disappointing trek back from Yale.
