But Triantafillou said the conference alsoprovided her helpful suggestions to improveCambridge life.
"I think I picked up a number of suggestionsabout the budget process and budgeting that Ithink were very useful," she said. "It's a verystimulating conference, both in the substance andin talking to councillors from other cities in thecountry."
The first-term city councillor said she had anopportunity to "network" with other elected cityofficials.
"It's very enriching in many respects," shesaid.

Triantafillou said she plans to proposelegislation to the City Council based on what shelearned at the conference but declined to name anyspecific legislation.
