Squash Expects Best

Only More National Titles Acceptable

"We're very strong throughout our entire lineup," Dockery said. "The freshman add a lot of depth."

The only obstacles for the Crimson on its way to another title are Princeton and Penn, who has one of its strongest teams ever. However, Harvard does not appear to be that concerned about its particular opponents.

"We just go in there and play squash," Pochoda said. "It's sometimes tough to get psyched up but once the match starts, getting excited comes naturally."

The freshman also help the Crimson to keep up the intensity.

"The freshman are always excited, and that keeps the team up," Dockery said. "We're hoping to repeat but we can't get too cocky."

Dockery summed up the way that Harvard is approaching its season.

"We have a strong team and we are looking to do well," Dockery said. "We just need a lot of hard work."

And in this case, the hard work is bound to pay off. The Harvard women's squash team will probably not be slowed down on its way to an incredible fifth straight national crown. Like the men, that kind of record is more than a dynasty.
