The Fiedler Skip-Stop Express vs. Keith "Diesel" Elias and Co.
What a game. Too bad we'll have to watch Harvard-Yale.
Rush, Rush: Pennsylvania tailback senior Sundiata Rush ran for 178 yards and three touchdowns as the Quakers defeated Brown, 38-0, on Saturday. For his heroics, Rush was named Offensive Player of the Week.
Before anyone starts jumping off bridges for this guy, though, remember that Harvard fullback Matt Johnson '91 ran for 323 yards against Brown last year.
And Brown Coach Mickey Kwiatkowski thinks his team this year is worse than it is last year.
178 yards. Merry Christmas, Rush.
It Takes Two to Tango: Penn sophomore running back Terrance Stokes took home Sophomore of the Week honors, gaining 78 yards on nine carries against Brown.
Well, when Johnson ran for 323 yards last year, Captain Robb Hirsch ran for 99 yards. Hmmph.
Merry Christmas to you too, Stokes.
Yale Update: Yale will be favored at The Stadium on November 21. The Elis have a great defense and a solid offense. The Crimson has a suspect defense and a struggling offense.
Yet anything can happen. (It has.) IVY LEAGUE FOOTBALL TEAM STATS
