Harvard, however, stunned Colgate with sometough forechecking and amazing speed early in thethird period. Young rode a Red defender off thepuck and then took it into the zone for anunassisted tally just 1:34 into the period tostart the late-game battle.
"In the third period, it could have gone eitherway," Slater said. "We've been getting the breaks,Harvard hasn't. But this league is far fromdecided. I think a lot of things are going tochange."
