WORCESTER--Holy Cross (6-1) won its 15th-straight home game here Saturday, 49-13, behind three touchdown passes from Tom Ciaccio. Ciaccio's third TD pass, a 5-yd. screen pass to flanker Mark Gallagher, increased the Crusaders lead to 28-13 with 8:19 left in the third quarter.
Corey Vincent hit quarterback Rich Willis on Brown's (1-6, 1-3) second drive in the second half, and safety Ernie Garlington scooped up the loose ball and ran 55 yards down the right sideline for a 35-13 lead.
Two blocked punts by Holy Cross' Dave Murphy, who has blocked 10 punts in his career, set up the final two Crusader touchdowns. Murphy returned the first block 40 yards for his squad's sixth touchdown and his second block set up a 3-yd. Joe Segreti touchdown run.
