Even though no scoring occurred after the firstperiod, there was plenty of excitement as bothHarvard and Brown had plenty of scoringopportunities.
White's sharp play held the Pandas off, but theCrimson's inability to take advantage of scoringand power play chances sealed the final verdict.
"They're a fine hockey team," Dooley said ofthe Brown squad that last November knocked off theCrimson, 3-2, in overtime.
Harvard is currently battling with Dartmouthfor fourth place in the Ivies. If the Crimson canoutduel the Green the rest of the way, it willlock onto the last seat for the Ivy tournament, tobe held March 1st and 2nd at the home rink of theleague leader.
In that case, look out Pandas.
"We could get a shot at them in the Ivytournament," Dooley said, "and we'd like nothingbetter."
In the more immediate future, however, Harvardis now preparing for Wednesday's Beanpot.
