Gielen was instrumental in the run, hitting two long-range jumpers and turning a steal into a lay-up for a third bucket.
But the Bruins came out of their huddle refreshed and renewed, and hit three quick baskets to effectively disabuse the Crimson of any upset notions.
The brightest spot for the cagers--other than Gielen, who went 5-for-6 from the floor but committed six turnovers--was the play of Dodson.
The sophomore forward has struggled this year, hitting less than 40 percent from the field and less than 60 percent from the line, but had an excellent offensive night Saturday with 13 points on 4-for-6 shooting.
Significantly, Dodson showed the ability to score from the baseline--something he's had trouble doing this year.
"That guy had every reason in the world to get down on himself," Roby said. "But now he's got confidence, and he wants the ball and he's going to score."
Harvard hosts Dartmouth tomorrow--the Crimson's first home league game of the season--and Roby promised a continuation of The Lineup Experiments.
"We're definitely going to shake the line-up up," he said.
