Other Changes
Under previous contracts, the University paid significantly more than outside employers to workers in some classifications.
Other changes in the contract include:
* An increase in clothing allowance, for shoes.
* An exchange of the present Patriot's Day holiday for a holiday on the day after Thanksgiving.

* An increase in the minimum daily mileage allowance.
* An increase of 20s and 40s per hour for lunchtime and nightime wofat respectively, and of 70s and $1 more by the third year of the contract.
* Stick leave for first-year workers, totalling one day every two months.
* Automatic disability insurance.
* The allowance of deductions for political contributions from paychecks.
