At the other end, Harvard was barely holding its own, mostly on the strength of Carrabino's 25-point performance and Ferry's season-high 18.
McLaughlin, attributing the slack-off to the comfortable lead and St. Michael's less than poor first-half performance, expressed concern about the number of mental mistakes his squad committed.
"Tuesday's gonna be a very tough game," McLaughlin predicted of Harvard's Ivy League opener at Dartmouth. "We've just got to execute over a 40-minute period."
THE NOTEBOOK: Carrabino's nine rebounds make this the first game of the season that hasn't seen him in double figures in both scoring and rebounds....St. Michael's shot .000 (0-for-2) from the charity stripe.
