But while the Harvard relay teams fell a little short, there were some fine individual performances Sophomore Jenny Stricker easily took the 880 with a time of 2 11 45 while teammate Grace deFries took second. The Crimson duo led from the first crack of the gun and none of the other runners came close.

Kathy Good had just as easy a time in the mile, where she turned in a time of 4 54 98 and beat her nearest competition by over six seconds.

In the shot put, Marie Acacia took first with a loss of 44 ft 8 1 4 in, while Kathy Busby and Signed Gabler edged out Terrier Kinga Kovecses to take the first two places in the 440.

Both Crimson squads will see action this coming weekend when the men host Dartmouth and the women head to Purdue.
